Film actor Sam Neill takes viewers on a spectacular and exciting journey around our galaxy and beyond, in the documentary series 'Space'.

The series 'Space' uses advanced computer animation to bring the universe and its stars to life - from the huge clouds where stars are born, to the "devourers" of the planets - the black holes. The beauty and immense power of the universe is revealed with the help of amazing images from sophisticated telescopes located around the world and from space itself.

During the series we will meet experts and scientists investigating some of the most essential questions of space exploration: Professor Paul Derrick, Lawrence Krauss, Robert Zubrin, and Professor Brian Boyle.

Stellar matter - all life on Earth, including humans, comes from space - every molecule of our bodies was created in an unimaginable way from a large hydrogen cloud created by the Big Bang. However, it is possible that our roots are later than that - there are scientific claims that claim that life arrived on Earth by meteors.

Staying Alive - Sam Neill discovers how disasters in space are a real threat to our planet, and what the outcome could be if a giant asteroid were to hit a collision course with Earth.

Black holes - Sam Neill takes us into the terrifying world of the "ultimate monsters of the universe", and examines what will happen if the Earth "meets" a black hole.

are we alone – Sam Neill embarks on a journey from the ocean of an alien moon to other hidden worlds throughout the universe to try and answer one of the most intriguing questions to people – is there other life other than on Earth?

New worlds - for five million years the sun "feeds" the earth, but one day, millions of years in the future, it will destroy our world and itself. Sam Neill takes viewers on a journey to possible future homes like Mars.

Walk with courage - less than 50 years since we took the first step in space, and since then thousands of rockets and hundreds of spaceships have left the earth and flown into space. But it's time to rethink transportation if we want humans to ever reach deep space. The latest installment in the series explores futuristic ideas such as ion propulsion, galactic hopping, and the use of wormholes to try and "cheat" time and space.

6 episodes, each episode lasts 29 minutes. The series will be broadcast on Saturdays starting April 26, at 20:30, with Hebrew translation.
