The letter named after Ilan, Rona and Asaf Ramon was awarded to fifteen outstanding students
"Ot Ramon", was awarded yesterday evening to fifteen outstanding students in a festive ceremony held in Tel Aviv
The 'Ot Ramon' leadership program is a joint venture of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and the Ramon Foundation. The students are selected for the project from all over the country after a strict screening process based on their academic achievements, their social and volunteer activities at school and in the community and their quality personality. Each winner receives a scholarship for his volunteerism and initiative for his community.
During the year, the children participate in a unique program of meetings and workshops that strengthen their leadership ability, deepen their acquaintance with Israeli society in its many shades, and equip them with a management toolbox that will help them lead Israeli society in the spirit and image of Ilan, Rona and Assaf Ramon. The winners of the 'Ot Ramon' are from all sections of society in Israel: women and men, new immigrants and 'savants', Arabs and Jews, and children living in the center and the periphery.
