"Star-Trek" fans will surely be in the seventh heaven, with the opening of the biggest exhibition ever held on the subject, "Star-Trek: The Adventure". The spaceship Enterprise is scheduled to "land" on December 18, in London's Hyde Park. According to Martin Bialas, the entrepreneur behind the exhibition, it will be possible to take a picture with Captain Kirk, fight the screws from the command bridge of the Enterprise, fly in the simulator and receive a video tape as a souvenir.

The exhibition will travel around the world - starting from Europe, through the USA and Australia, in a "five-year journey to discover new viewers, and to reach places where Star-Trek has never been", says Bialas.

Bialas, president of Special Events Entertainment, a company based in Hollywood, spent nine months trying to convince the British authorities that Hyde Park in London was indeed the best launch for the new Star Trek exhibit. “This will be one of the largest interactive events on the planet. The exhibition will last five years, maybe even ten," said Bialas. "In Britain alone there are 400 members of the Star Trek fan club. It will be the biggest event in Hyde Park since the 'Great Exhibition' in 1851.

According to Bialas, Star Trek has remained popular for more than 40 years because of its positive message. "Yes, there will be a future. Humanity will survive and in the end we will take care of the environment," Bialas said.
