Following on from the previous announcements on the subject, the heads of the research universities (VRA) announce this morning (Sunday), that the universities are preparing for the opening of the 31.12.2023 Tashfad year on XNUMX.
In the coming weeks, preparations for the opening, orientation days, organization days and more will be held in all the universities. It should be noted that the Technion is preparing to open the academic year on January 7.1.24, XNUMX, after the end of the TPFG exams.
A detailed notice of the opening procedures at the various institutions will be given to the student community at each of the universities during the coming week.

As part of its commitment to the future of the State of Israel, the leadership of the universities is working to enable the opening of the academic year Tashpad, with the aim of enabling teaching and research even in this challenging and difficult period.

The decision was made in a joint dialogue with the IDF. In recent weeks, we have been working on detailed outlines for returning to school, in which a diverse basket of adjustments will be used alongside finding individual solutions for all those who will still serve in the reserves.
We would like to repeat once again our commitment to the entire student community and the men and women of the recruited faculty to do everything we can so that no one is left behind.

We wish everyone a successful year as much as possible, and we will continue to work so that our campuses are quiet and safe and will allow us all to engage in teaching, learning and research for the benefit of the students and the State of Israel.
