Gareth Reisman, a Jewish astronaut and a close friend of the Ramon family, took with him on his last flight into space a flag with the logo of the ISU Israel - Ilan Ramon government scholarship fund, which grants scholarships to Israeli students for studies at the International Space University. The flag of Israel and the emblem of the university are combined.

Reisman Flew into space on the shuttle Atlantis' last mission in May 2010 for an 11-day mission to the International Space Station. Raisman took two flags with him, one remains permanently on the International Space Station and one is returned to Israel.

The event was attended by the three winners of the Ilan Ramon Trailblazers competition, Hillel Mashal, Zvika Oron and Amri Yaffe They will travel this June to Singularity University and the four scholars to ISU for the coming year.

The scholarship fund allocates scholarships to encourage students to cultivate quality groups while educating for excellence, values ​​and contribution to the community.
