Although already at the opening of the conference we discussed compensation for affected populations and even committed to a meager compensation of a few million, I will allow my little one to smile sadly at the assumption that once again the only result from the conference will be more unnecessary emissions and futile expenses that will yield nothing.
It is worth remembering that at the COP15 conference held in 2022 in Montreal, the goal was set: "Restoration of the environment by the end of the decade" in order to act for biodiversity as was supposed to happen with the climate convention. "It was supposed to happen" because if something is done, it is insignificant compared to the decisions and commitments, and even less will be done to restore the environment.
Which justifies the call of one of the speakers at the conference to "stop using nature as a toilet", adding that "humanity has become a weapon of mass destruction". Two statements come true that bring me to eulogy.

At the same time, I have always argued that the human species is not successful, because a species that has existed for over 300 thousand years and succeeded in the last few thousand to destroy its environment and its own kind - it has no justification for existence. If he doesn't change his ways and behavior, the chances are high that he will disappear!
Scientists discuss what caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, but it is known that all the extinctions in the millions of years of existence of life were due to external natural factors and not because of the activity of any species! This is the sixth extinction, for which man is solely responsible. Such a species not only has no right to exist, but it is doubtful if it has a chance of survival.

And for all this, when again and again leaders whose only concern is their personal survival do everything so that the population under their leadership remains immersed in abysmal ignorance. After all, once again the chance for the continuation and survival of the species and the environment is compromised!
There are many negative examples and perhaps the best are here with us: when in a sunny country we continue to burn coal to generate electricity, or when we are approaching a level of population density that is one of the largest in the world and instead of checking how to prevent overcrowding instead of considering the carrying capacity of the area and the level of suffering caused to people who live in overcrowding, they plan Projects in which there will be life in an even greater density, the result will be negative!
A density that has also increased because of ignorance, ignorance that religious leaders take care to preserve, and since the state leaders depend on the support of the religious, instead of promoting knowledge and science, they also succumb to ignorance, which turns ignorance into "the mother of all sin"... and about this it has already been said, "He who neither learned nor taught nor preserved He will endure what he learned."
